Originally this kitchen was a ‘U’ shape with a small butchers block in the center. As soon as we saw the space, we knew we needed to remove the right hand side units to allow for a bigger island and open feel.

Our Client knew from the start she wanted a classic style of kitchen, and to be daring with colours so we chose ‘Olive’ & ‘Sulking Room Pink’ from Farrow & Ball.

We changed the previous range cooker for an oven and microwave built in at eye level, and an induction hob within the island. This makes all the appliances easier to use and keep clean.

The stunning double door chef’s pantry cabinet beautifully houses all of the food storage, maximising storage with spice racks on the doors.

A sit on dresser unit hides the toaster and kettle and makes use of the ceiling height to create a breakfast area housing cups, bowls, cereals and more.

Client feedback:

Hi Lucy

I am getting in touch to let you know that our kitchen has been installed and we are delighted with it.

Your idea of not having the units on one side and instead increasing the size of the island works really really well!

Thanks you so much for your help. The kitchen definitely wouldn’t have turned out this well without your design and expert eye.

Best wishes
Angela
